It is the ability to cross-reference the statutory information that you have in your system with the corresponding information held by the Companies Registry or equivalent. With the click of a button, the information from the Registry is downloaded, instantly compared, and variations identified.
Not all Companies Registries offer this service and from the 30 jurisdictions we currently support, only the most commonly used forms for the UK and Jersey provide the service. However, undoubtedly as more registries offer e-filing this will become an expectation from every Registry.
As always Viewpoint is at the forefront in making this functionality available, identifying further ways this can benefit our clients. For example, with Viewpoint Connect version 8, not only will users be able to automatically identify variances, but they will also be able to select if they want to automatically update their records to reconcile the variances. They will even produce the necessary filings to update the respective registry records.
