The Jersey Financial Supervision Commission (JFSC) announced in early September that it would cease to accept a number of manual filings in favour of electronic filings submitted directly to the JFSC portal.
Viewpoint are committed to providing the e-filing service for Jersey, however at the time of writing (25th September) the JFSC have not released the necessary technical requirements or specifications needed for Viewpoint to develop the filings tools.
The JFSC have confirmed that they will make partial releases of the required documents between now and the end of November. So, for now, Viewpoint will do what we can and hope we can proceed as more of the requirements are made publicly available.
Below are the details of the timeline that the JFSC have confirmed they will follow:
API docs updated and initial service guidance. These documents will also include the schema for all the forms
Update suite of service API guidance
Complete suite of service API guidance including test process
Final version of the API to be available on Test and Production
Testing and approval for the Production environment commences
When the JFSC Portal is operational, the JFSC have indicated that they will adopt a phased approach for the forms to be e-filed vs manually filed. Below are the details we have received on what is to be included in which phase.
|Release 1 – 1 December 2020||Release 2 – 1 April 2021|
