Norman Allen is an experienced technologist, with broad experience across various disciplines, including server management, virtualization, distributed computing, network security, and architecture. Norman Allen’s IT career has spanned higher education, as well as entertainment, utilities, transportation, and financial sectors, immersing him in network design, leading small and large projects, network and server management, disaster recovery strategy design, virtualization implementations, securing networks, and managing a broad range of IT elements. Currently the Head of Information Technology, Norman Allen was formerly the IT Manager for Baker Tilly (BVI) Limited and Baker Tilly Cayman, after spending 4 great years at Accenture, working as an IT Consultant specializing in Microsoft solutions.Norman’s technical certifications range from MCSE, MCITP, MCSA, to MCT and others. His certifications cover a range of technologies including Microsoft Azure, Windows Server, and Enterprise Messaging. His experience runs from managing servers and desktops to architecting, procuring, and implementing various small and large-scale solutions. Whether it’s Citrix, disaster recovery, business continuity, virtualization, cloud adoption, or other business-related implementations, Norman has delivered. Norman enjoys photography, where he has photographed at events such as New York Fashion Week and London Fashion Week.
As a subsidiary of Baker Tilly (BVI) Limited, Caribbean Business Solutions (CBS) has been implementing and supporting Viewpoint clients and users in the BVI since 2003. The CBS team consists of Norman Allen (Head of Information Technology), Joanne M. Algar (Business Advisory Manager), and Sujitha Ramasamy (IT Assistant) in offering training, implementation, consulting services, and support related to Viewpoint.
